Jamboree on the Air (JOTA) Scouts

On October 15th 2022 at 10am, CDARC will support the 64th Jamboree on the Air with local Scouts. Setup will be at 9:00 am and we will be on the air by 10:00 am. The club will setup equipment at the warming house at Tom O'Leary Golf course. See map below. We will assist scouts in making contacts using amateur radio equipment.
To get to the warming house, go to the corner of West Boulevard Ave and North Griffin St. and then go north through the gate on the gravel road. The warming house is the first building you get to after going through the gate.
If you are a licensed amateur radio operator, and would like to participate, please show up and get a scout on the air

Event Report: We had approximately 20 scouts come to the event. Made contact with 19 states and two countries (Japan and Mexico)
